GATE: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri [anime]

Another anime that I found under Suwabe Junichi's profile. Junichi-san is voicing the leading character—Itami— for this anime. Thus, making it the second lead role for Junichi-san in this season, after voicing Worick in Gangsta.. Of course, Junichi-san is also voicing other supporting roles for various anime.

I thought something was wrong with the anime while watching the first episode. Though, I gave it a try even so. Obviously, I was mistaken after watching the next few episodes after. It might have something to do with the environment with the first episode that makes me a bit...disheartened. But give the next few minutes a try and it was all worth it!

It was another boring anime for the first 3min in the first episode, but everything went mad after that and everyone was confuse. Then suddenly it ends. What a cliffhanger! I'm warning you, every episode end with an annoying, frustrating cliffhanger.

So what was it all about?

A portal between world is open, putting Ginza, Tokyo, under attack by otherworldly monsters and medieval-look-a-like soldiers. Luckily the mystical forces have no chances against the Japan Ground-Self Defence Force(JSDF) weaponry and technology. Actions decided, dispatch ordered. JSDF sent out teams to the other side of the GATE. Wars ensued, not just between the world but also within both of the world.

Woot?!

Meh~ I've waited for this anime since [insert some date here!]. This anime is practically dirty, naughty and bloody! The first episode started with a whore scene and her pimp! But I'm sure its going to be a good anime, regardless it's future profanity contents. I'm actually pretty excited to see it.

Of course the real reason is because of the VA, Junichi Suwabe. He is voicing Worick, one of the naughty boy. His partner Nicolas is a very interesting character! I don't remember ever seeing disabled(deaf) anime character before. So, it's very fascinating to see one. (Though I probably seen disabled character before, but I'm not remembering any now). It's actually pretty funny to see him threatening people with his poor speech, not because of his speech but because he look so badass while at it!!

 
Worick and Nicolas

This anime is actually pretty fun.

la plot: In the city of Ergastulum, a shady ville filled with made men and petty thieves, whores on the make and cops on the take, there are some deeds too dirty for even its jaded inhabitants to touch. Enter the "Handymen," Nic and Worick, who take care of the jobs no one else will handle. Until the day when a cop they know on the force requests their help in taking down a new gang muscling in on the territory of a top Mafia family. God Eater [anime]

I've been waiting for the anime adaptation since I saw the 'God Eater Prologue' the OAV. I don't play the game so I wouldn't really know much about it. But the OAV is enough to catch my attention! So much action! So much chaos!!

I knew there will be a full series but I don't know why I thought that it will a different storyline. Obviously I was wrong!! Was there even a different storyline/version of God Eater in the game?

I was browsing Nakai Kazuya's page in myanimelist(mal) today when I saw it; God Eater!!

At first I thought it was the game page, but I was uncertain and definitely curious. So I clicked it! I was surprised! Surprise to see that it was actually a full series anime! I was surprise that there will be Soma!(even though I click from his VA page, I'm still surprise to see him) And I was surprise to see that it was produced by ufotable!(but that is expected since the Prologue was by them too.)

I guess, I'm expecting alot of mayhem in this series. Since I don't really know anything about the storyline. Except that Soma is the son of some high ranking people and he's quite and brilliant! (okay I admit that this is nothing about the storyline at all)

le plot: In the year 2071, the Far East is ruled by angry gods. 20 years ago unknown life forms called “Oracle cells” begin their uncontrolled consumption of all life on Earth. Humanity both fears them and reveres them as "aragami." They are immune to all weapons and the mankind's numbers continue to dwindle. The last bastion of hope is the newly developed "God Arcs" weapons that utilize Oracle cells to fight back. The weapons wielders band together into an elite force dubbed "God Eaters." -animenewsnetwork

So basically;

1. the Oracle cell is eating the Earth. 
2. People are scared of them and deeply respect this Aragami monster [?]
3. Aragami can't be kill by normal weaponry.
4. Human are declining in numbers.
5. God Arcs is made using the Oracle cell which able to kill the Aragami
6. God Eaters handle these God Arcs weapons.

meh! it was a fine background, but I wanna know about this Soma guy.... I don't understand how I can take so much interest in a character I haven't even know yet. We'll wait the first episode in a few days and see...

Anime

I am very picky with anime. If I decide to watch series it is with reasons.

The main reason is the Seiyuu! I collect certain seiyuu's work, wheter as main or supporting character, I will gladly watch them. If it isn't my top most favorite seiyuu, I would still listen to the voices, if I find them good then I'll keep watching otherwise I would just kick them into my recycle bin.

Next one is the animation. I think MADHouse studio have a great animation! Stuff like this will keep me watching a series. The animation didn't need to be madly flashy, it just have to be decent, unlike what they(Toei) did to One Piece right now.

I've said that I would watch Eichii series, but they will be at the bottom of my list. I mostly like shounen series. Shoujo would be okay too if it isn't centered towards Romance. Others genre that I like is adventure, mystery, fantasy, slice-of-life, supernatural, I also like sports series!

That's how I choose anime. How do you?

Vocaloid MEIKO

She was the first vocaloid that took my interest!

Tough I don't really have/know many of her songs. But the first song that I took liking from her was her cover of 'Uninstall', an opening song to the anime 'Bokurano'.

Sakine Meiko was another different story. I just love her design! I actually saw what Sakine Meiko looks like first before I even know how Meiko sounds like.

Her cover version of 'Honey' originally by Cyndi Wang is truly become my earliest favourite songs.

For Meiko, the only original songs that I have is the 'Escape of Salmhofer the Witch'. I already liked it the first time I saw them.

But it really is pretty sad song. Well, it is from one of the The Heavenly Yard(thy) circle so it is not something unexpected. Considering that I actually like thy!

How I meet One Piece

So ONE PIECE is my favorite anime at the moment!

I come across this anime because of Nakai Kazuya, Roronoa Zoro's seiyuu(voice actor). Nakai Kazuya is my favourite seiyuu, so I  have the need to collect all of his character.

I did not watch One Piece until it reach xxx of episode, I don't remember whats the xxx really. I did not watch them because I thought I'll watch it after it ends, but then one day, after I've watch all of Nakai's works in my collection, there is this one folder that I haven't touch for a very long time. So I thought "why not. Its just for a few episode". And then I can't stop myself to go through all of them.

I went to search for the manga, Oda become my favorite mangaka.

Now I know that this series wont end until I reach my 30.

My interest

Hello!
So today I'm going to list out my current interest, that I might talk about in this lonely blog. So, the one and most thing I like is.. cats.. they are cute. I like dogs too, I actually like everything with fur..

I watch many kinds of Anime, I love shounen anime, shoujo is okay too. Eichi is fine as long as there is an interesting story line. Mecha anime is weird for me, but I tried to watch some. And I would absoulutely be thrilled to have some shounen-ai. 

I used to listen to all kinds of western music in my early teenage, but now I don't know where to find good western music anymore. I only listen to these old songs that supposedly awesome in it's era and still is.

So now I listen to Vocaloids music! I actually love their voices, because it's interesting. And then I came to like few of those great Utaite (means someone who do covers songs), they have awesome voices. And there's the producer who make great music!

If there's music, there must be dance moves right. I don't really like to watch people dancing because I would just felt envious to them. But when listening to vocaloid, not adoring some odoroite(means someone who do dance cover) is impossible.

I play MikuMikuDance. I don't actually know to put it in the game category or what. But yeah I played MMD a lot. MMD is a 3D choreography program. In simple words it's something that you use to make 3D animation. Yup.

What else...

Oh yeah, I like drawing too. But I'm extremely not good at it. It can actually be call a rough sketches.
And I read fanfiction!

Hmmm.. I think thats all. I haven't had times to play some good games, or watch some good dramas or TV series. But I like series like LOST.
